The Lodge
Situated on the banks of the Omadale Brook on Roma Orchard, The Orchard Lodge is the perfect rural retreat for large groups and gatherings.
Cottage
Enjoy the tranquility of Roma Orchard as you make yourself at home in the Roma cottage, it offers a homely space for relaxing or entertaining.
Camping
Let the tranquil sounds of the Omadale Brook and Hunter River lull you to sleep while you camp at the Roma Orchard campground. Bring your own tent/camper trailer, or hire one of ours, and stay a while amongst the paulownia trees.
Functions
Whether it's a wedding, birthday, family reunion, group getaway, fishing trip or anything else in-between, every event is welcome at The Orchard Lodge.
Directions to Roma Orchard
Roma Orchard is a bit off the beaten track, but we promise it is worth the drive. If you're unsure, here are some directions to help you on your journey:
Step One
If leaving from Scone or Aberdeen (New England Highway), drive towards Gundy and continue through towards Moonan Flat.
Step Two
Continue past Moonan Flat and over Moonan Brook Bridge.
Step Three
After the bridge, follow the tarred road to your left, following all signs towards The Orchard Lodge and "Ellerston"
Step Four
Continue on this road for approximately 10km.
Step Five
After crossing the Glenmore Bridge, Roma Orchard is on your left -the vineyard running beside the road indicates your approach.
Step Six
Roma Cottage is located at the far end of the vineyard next to the large packing shed.
Step Seven
The Orchard Lodge is the large building below the second vineyard -the driveway is down the plantation of large paulownia trees.
Step Eight
"Pick your own" days are located across the new Omadale Brook Bridge down the first gate to your left.
